EPC certificate services

At Green London EPC we provide EPC certificate services to private landlords, estate agents and home owners throughout London. Our qualified energy assessors will conduct an detailed energy survey on your residential property.  The qualified energy assessor will check the property’s energy efficiency and the insulation.  This information will allow the assessor to generate an energy performance certificate.  The certificate will establish the energy consumption efficiency of your entire property.

The assessor will create an SAP rating value.  This is done using a computer system that uses the Reduced Data Standard Assessment Procedure, (RDSAP).

The assessor will inspect the following:

  • Construction Type and Energy Impact
  • Doors and Windows
  • Heating and Ventilation
  • Air Tightness
  • Amount of Insulation

Current energy efficiency and carbon dioxide emissions are compared per EPC ratings.  The comparison will show you what your home can achieve.  The potential numbers are based on estimates of what your home’s energy efficiency and carbon dioxide emissions could be with the implementation of energy saving measures.

The efficiency is rated per a grade system.  The grades range from A to G.  A is the best, or most energy efficient, and G is the worst.  Right now, the average grade is D.  The same calculations are used to grade all homes, so different properties can be compared for energy efficiency.

As a landlord, it is your responsibility by law to provide your tenant with an EPC.  Failure to provide your tenant with an EPC can lead you to a heavy fine. Our domestic EPC certificate prices start from £34.99, for more information, please visit our pricing page on EPC prices
